Nursing
Nursing prepares compassionate, skilled healthcare professionals through evidence-based education, clinical practice, and hands-on simulation. A new telehealth simulation suite is opening in 2029.
Mechanical Engineering
Focuses on design, thermodynamics, materials, and manufacturing. Students prototype in the campus machine shop and compete in an annual design challenge. A new advanced manufacturing lab will open in 2027. A new robotics lab will open in 2028.
Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering prepares students to design, analyze, and build modern electrical systems, with a new power electronics lab opening in 2028.
Data Science
Combines statistics, programming, and domain knowledge; students work on real datasets from partner companies from the second semester. The department has a new partnership with a regional hospital for healthcare analytics projects and will begin a new partnership with a regional analytics firm in 2028.
Computer Science
Covers programming, algorithms, software engineering, and intelligent systems. Students build real software in every year of the program and graduate ready for industry or research. A new minor in Applied AI will start in 2027. A new AI systems lab will open in 2028.
Chemistry
A new instrumentation lab with mass spectrometry equipment will begin operation in 2028.
